Acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Blue Orbit (“we”, “us”), an independent developer established in Ireland and the developer of Learners Test UAE (“the app”). By installing or using the app, you accept these Terms and Google Play's terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these Terms.
An unofficial practice app
Learners Test UAE is an unofficial practice app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, Abu Dhabi Mobility / ITC, Sharjah Police, the Ministry of Interior or any other UAE government entity. It does not contain questions from any real theory test.
The questions are original. We write them from UAE traffic law and official notices with the help of AI, and they are checked by AI against those sources. They have not been reviewed by a driving instructor or a lawyer.
Traffic rules, fines and test formats change, and the test formats in the app are for practice and may differ from your test centre. Always check the official sources: rta.ae, u.ae, tamm.abudhabi, moi.gov.ae and shjpolice.gov.ae. Using the app does not guarantee that you will pass any test.
Who can use the app
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app; children under 13 may not use it. Before you start, the app asks how old you are: 18 or older, 13 to 17, or under 13. Please answer truthfully, because your answer decides which ads and options you see. If you answer “Under 13”, the app stops and cannot be used.
If you are 13 to 17:
- Use the app with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, who can contact us about your data
- You only see non-personalised, teen-rated ads
- You are not offered study emails or any other marketing
The app has no public profiles, chat or comments for anyone.
We do not offer the app in the United Kingdom or the United States. If you use it from a place where we do not offer it, you are responsible for complying with local law.
Accounts
You can use the app as a guest. An account (Google, or email and password, through Firebase Authentication) is optional and lets you sync your progress between devices.
If you create an account, use a real email address that you control, keep your password secret, and tell us at blue0orbit@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account. Each account is for one person.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or as described in the Privacy Policy.
Pro purchase and refunds
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that removes ads and unlocks unlimited mock tests and every risk-recognition clip for all licences. Google Play shows the price before you pay (AED 19.99 in the UAE; it can differ in other countries). There is no subscription.
Google Play handles payment, receipts and refunds under its own terms and refund policy. You can request a refund from your Google Play order history; if Google Play cannot help, email us. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have.
Pro belongs to the Google account that bought it. If Pro does not appear, use Restore purchase in Settings or email us.
We may improve or change features over time, but we will not remove the main Pro benefits you paid for while we continue to offer the app.
Rewarded ads and referrals
Rewarded ads are optional. When you watch one to the end, you get the reward shown before it starts, such as an extra mock test today (within the daily limit) or a 24-hour pass. Rewards depend on an ad being available and cannot be exchanged for money.
Referrals: you can share your invite link. When a friend installs the app through it and finishes their first mock test, you both get 7 days of Pro. You can be rewarded for up to 4 friends. The link carries an anonymous code, not your name or contact details.
Only invite people you know who want to study. Do not use spam, fake installs, multiple devices or other tricks; we may withhold or remove rewards gained unfairly. We never give rewards for ratings or reviews. We may change or end these offers in the future; rewards already earned last until they expire.
Acceptable use
Use the app only for your own lawful, personal study. Do not:
- Copy, scrape, sell or republish the questions, explanations, sign drawings, clips or other content
- Reverse engineer the app or interfere with its servers, security, ads or purchases, except as the law allows
- Use bots, scripts or fake accounts, or try to get Pro or rewards without paying or qualifying
- Use the app while driving
- Present the app or its results as official, for example as a certificate or a test result
Achievements and the ready card are practice achievements, not official documents.
Intellectual property
The app and its content, including the questions, explanations, sign drawings, diagrams, risk-recognition clips, design and software, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own study under these Terms.
Traffic laws and official notices belong to the authorities that issue them; we write our own questions from them and link to the official sources. We name authorities only to identify them, not to suggest any connection. The Learners Test UAE name and logo are ours.
If you send us feedback or report a problem, we may use it to improve the app without any obligation to you.
Disclaimer
The app is for practice and general information only. It is not legal advice and does not replace the official handbooks, your driving institute or the authority that runs your test.
Traffic rules, fines and test formats change, sometimes without notice. Before you rely on anything in the app, check it against the official sources listed above. Practice scores, readiness levels and badges describe your practice in the app; they do not predict or guarantee the result of any test.
We work to keep the content correct and up to date, but the app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no promises or warranties, express or implied, that the app is complete, error-free, current or always available, that it matches the test you take, or that it is fit for a particular purpose. If you find a mistake, please report it in the app or by email.
You are always responsible for driving safely and lawfully. On the road, follow the law, road signs and markings, the police and your instructor, even if something in the app seems to say otherwise.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for failing a test, for traffic fines, black points or other penalties, for accidents, injury or damage arising from how anyone drives, or for loss of data or progress.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, and nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account in Settings.
We may suspend or close an account, or remove rewards, if it is used in serious or repeated breach of these Terms, to protect other users or the app, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first. We may also delete an account that has not been used for 24 months, together with its synced progress, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may change the app or stop offering it. If we stop offering it, we will announce this in the app where we can. Parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, the disclaimer and limitation of liability) continue after these Terms end.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If we make an important change, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
Governing law and language
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
These Terms are written in English and translated into Arabic. If a translation differs from the English text, the English text prevails, except where local law requires otherwise.
